Using the latest from your image-sprites branch, I'm getting the wrong bundled css output. Debugged through it and found that the ExCSS library is choking on bootstrap.css. I'm attaching the original bootstrap.css, the resource.Content that gets passed into StylesheetParser.Parse() when processing bootstrap.css. And here is the error the library throws:

'ExCSS.Stylesheet' does not contain a definition for 'Errors' and no extension method 'Errors' accepting a first argument of type 'ExCSS.Stylesheet' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Count = 3
[0]: "-- line 9 col 165: \")\" expected"
[1]: "-- line 9 col 175: \"{\" expected"
[2]: ""

The first two errors are for this part from line 29 of the original bootstrap.css: "audio:not([controls]) {" . This looks like a bug in ExCSS. I filed a bug with ExCSS: https://github.com/TylerBrinks/ExCSS/issues/8

For now I'm going to rollback to my custom fork because that works fine for me on Azure, Azure Emulator, and in non-Azure mode (and I am OK with not using sprites feature for now).

Once this works with bootstrap again I can continue helping you debug the issues I was having.
Comments: The latest 1.7 source processes Bootstrap without issues.

Thanks for the reply Piedone, I have checked and my web host doesn't allow for IIS compression. I don't know if other web host providers do or not, too bad. Do you think it is possible to allow for compression without access to IIS? I have a feeling, from what I have read, that even if I turned it on via web.config that the server will still disallow it unless the host has enabled gzip compression. Just looking for all the ways I can to improve performance.

This could be something in Combinator but it's also a feature you can enable in IIS directly under Compression.

I don't know a lot about this part of web development, but I have read a lot about how gzip compression can be useful in decreasing load time. That is about all I know. I was just wondering if this could be a feature introduced with the Combinator module (or if anyone has a process in place for Orchard to utilize gzip)? Hope this question makes sense.
